What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- Details you give us: name, email, phone number, delivery address, and anything you write in a message or delivery note.
- Order history — what you bought and when.
- Basic technical data: pages visited, device type, and approximate location from your IP address.
We never see or store your full card number. Payment details go directly to Paystack.
Why we hold it
- To fulfil your order, deliver it, and handle returns.
- To answer your messages.
- To send marketing email, but only if you have opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works.
- To meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the parties who make an order happen: Paystack for payment, our delivery partners for the address and phone number they need to reach you, and our email provider if you have subscribed. We do not sell your data to anyone, for any price.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years to satisfy Nigerian tax requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Anything else is deleted when it stops being useful.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email info@desor.com.ng and we will respond within thirty days.
Cookies
We use the minimum needed to keep your cart working and to understand which pages people read. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart will stop remembering your items if you do.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and access to customer data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the regulator promptly.
